Miku Shimizu's work captures the intangible, such as the wind carrying the scents of seasonal plants, and the shifts in one's mood, through the use of transparent and evocative colors. Her paintings give the viewer a sense of immersion in her world.

She uses the medium of acrylic gouache (a type of water-based acrylic paint) to create these pieces. The design allows you to enjoy the artwork while also providing a space to write a brief note.
